This adapter allows serial devices to be connected to USB ports. This product is USB 2.0 compliant and so is suitable for use with both USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 systems. The maximum data transfer rate is over 1Mbps. Windows 98SE/2000/XP and Mac OS V8.6 operating systems are all supported.

The adapter is supplied with a USB 2.0 extension cable approx. 80cm in length and can be used in conjunction with a 9 to 25 way D adapter (to connect devices fitted with 25 way D serial ports).
